Hubby hard at work. Tuesdays and Thursdays we work late and hubby does piecework while I pretty much play around on the computer - here he is hard at work.
Another tasty bite from the kitchen of Dawn. Not much "homemade" food comes out it's usually supper in a bag, or publix precooked meals - but sometimes I like to play around and make something. These are crab cakes with a Remoulade sauce. I will make these again, but add some more spice to kick it up a notch.
A quick stop for lunch at "Five Guys Burgers and Fries". We'd been hearing rave reviews and let me tell you the burgers and fries are fantastic. Word to the wise ... don't order a large fry - we got a large to share and still had tons left over. The place was packed. We'll be back.
Rafael in our Quality department gave a rose to all the ladies at work for Valentine's Day. They all smelled so good and were just starting to open. In a rush to leave work, I left mine behind, called Saturday to have it put in water but by Monday it was pretty much gone.
Dinner at the Cheesecake Factory - sort of a celebration of the anniversary of our first blind date (the 7th) and Valentines Day (the 14th). Chicken Piccata - my favorite.
Tonight was the cruise in at Betty's Best Burgers which used to be the Fudruckers. We're in the '67 GS Convertable. It was a little on the cold side but you can't not drive with the top down. Jackets work wonders.
Tonight after a the car show at Tower Shops we dropped by Fridays for dinner/snack. I worked late while Jay went to the show and I just didn't feel like cooking when I got home. This is the wall which was sort of dedicated to the 60s-70s-80s - part of our lifetime.
Characters on my desk. The Zebra is from a pen promotion, Sponge Bob from McDonalds, and the warning cone was a gift from one of my coworkers - it says "Service May Vary According to My Mood and Your Attitude" - ahhh so true. My husband poses the Zebra whenever he comes into my office whether I am there or not ... sort of to say Hi.
This is Mew. He currently lives under the sink in my bathroom. It's his safe zone. I've emptied it out and put a rug in there - it's where he loves to stay. Took me many, many tries to get a "good" picture of him.
